Why Molchanovs?

Q: Why do you teach Molchanovs?
A: Molchanovs is a leading freediving education platform with online manuals written by top athletes and instructor trainers worldwide. It’s run by freedivers for freedivers, updated regularly, and recognized globally. As an instructor, you benefit from an active international community and up-to-date teaching materials.

Q: Do instructors need to be affiliated with a dive center to teach Molchanovs?
A: No. Molchanovs instructors can teach and certify independently (with an active yearly membership), without needing affiliation to a dive center.

About Freediving

Q: What is freediving?
A: Freediving is diving underwater on a single breath, without tanks. It combines technique, relaxation, and safety skills to explore the ocean calmly and responsibly.

Q: Is freediving safe?
A: Yes, with proper training and supervision. At Ocean BX Freediving we follow strict safety protocols: briefings, buddy system, safety equipment, and emergency readiness in pool and open water.

Q: Do I need to be athletic to start?
A: No. Calmness, good coaching, and correct technique matter more than fitness. We progress at your pace.

Junior Freediving (Ages 12–15)

Q: What is Junior Freediving?
A: Junior Freediving (ages 12–15) teaches water skills, breath control, and safety awareness using age-appropriate methods and close supervision by certified Junior Instructors. No prior experience required.

Q: What ages can join Ocean BX courses?
A: Most adult programs are for ages 16+. Juniors are 12–15. Divers under 18 need parental consent.
